This Privacy Policy explains what information Sofya collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. Sofya is developed by Nexus Applications LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
The short version: your data is used to run the app for you — we do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos (other than a profile photo you choose), or advertising identifiers.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the App:

These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the App's features and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments. AI requests are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses; we do not permit our providers to use your content to serve you advertising.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case this policy would continue to apply to your data until updated).
We use your email address to send you a small number of messages about the App:
We do not send newsletters or promotional campaigns, we do not send third-party advertising, and we never share or sell your address to anyone for their own marketing.
Opting out. To stop receiving email from us, reply to any message we send or write to gamalieldorcin1@gmail.com, and we will record that preference against your account. Messages we are required to send to operate your account or to meet a legal obligation may still reach you.
Email is delivered through Resend (see Section 3), which receives your email address and the contents of the message for that purpose only.
We keep your data for as long as your account exists so the App can function. Some data is short-lived by design — for example, agent activity older than 7 days is automatically removed from your activity feed. When you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted as described below.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly in the App (Settings › Profile › Delete Account) or by emailing us. Deletion removes your authentication account, profile information, all tasks, habits, goals, agent settings and logs, analytics, notification tokens, and all other data stored under your account. Full details are on our account deletion page. Records held by our subscription provider or the app stores (such as purchase history) may be retained under their own policies.
Your data is stored in Google Firebase with industry-standard protections, including encryption in transit and at rest, and access rules that restrict your data to your authenticated account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable technical and organizational measures.
Sofya is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
The App is operated from the United States and your information is processed and stored in the United States (and in the regions used by our service providers). By using the App, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, in the App) and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
